Your Monday Muse 2020-Avalon

Happy Monday Friends!

Who else heard a wonderful message from their church/pastor this weekend that has invigorated you?

We were reading out of Psalm 107 and it was uplifting to know that God didn’t mind that the Israelites kept having to call out to God because of their temporary circumstances. They had so many struggles. They were making so many mistakes, rebelling and sinning even though they knew who to follow and what to focus on.

And, God didn’t stop listening to their prayers. He didn’t stop helping them, healing them, loving them. He didn’t step back and throw His hands up and say, “Nope, not today folks”.

There were consequences. There was change. There were challenges. There was pain and suffering.

But, it was temporary, and time after time, our Heavenly Father answered their prayers. He healed them. He protected them. He saved them. He forgave them.

He saw their hearts. He knew their needs and wants, their dreams and desires.

He heard them and did not turn away.

He was a permanent solution, and all He asked for in return was their thanks and praise.

“Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—those He redeemed from the hand of the foe, those He gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.” Psalm 107:2-3

We need to keep praising HIM, thanking HIM, leaning on HIM, trusting HIM.

He hasn’t stopped listening to us. He sees our temporary circumstances and He is taking what our enemy means for evil and will work GOOD from it.

He’s the Keeper of our hearts!
