“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
We are His hands and feet. We are His ambassadors to the weak and the poor, the young and the old, the hurting and the hopeless, the sinner and the forgiven, the battered and the abandoned, the lost and the unaware all over the world.
As a disciple of Jesus, it’s not a cliché. It’s fact not fiction.
We can make a difference in our own backyard, not just as missionaries in other countries, but as community members, school volunteers, students in the hallways, colleagues in the workplace. We CAN offer hope and love, generosity and kindness, peace and acceptance.
Our stories of His impact in our lives can inspire generations. Our testimonies can give life to those who are struggling to live.
Jesus came so that we can have life and live it in abundance, regardless of whether it’s a Monday or a payday. He is our portion, our bucket-filler, the very breath we breathe.
As you go about your day today…remember. You are His messenger.
