“The hurrier I go, the behinder I get.” -The White Rabbit

Ever feel like you’ve fallen down the rabbit hole and become The White Rabbit from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland? Moving fast, but still sometimes late?

We were told this sometimes happens, when you’re releasing a book. Lining up manufacturing and distribution, sorting out shipping and warehousing…well, it’s a lot of schedules to align and sometimes there are delays. So, due to circumstances beyond our control, the release date for our sweet little picture book, The Bubble Who Would Not POP! is being pushed back to Thursday, September 28.

We are quite thankful that this delay is only two weeks as we are ready to celebrate with author Shelly Roark and illustrator Simone Krüger, like, now. In fact, because it’s such a short delay and because we already had everything set up, we are still hosting The Bubble Who Would Not POP! launch party in Tyler, Texas this coming Friday, September 16 from 1-3pm! We are soooo excited! There will be cake and book swag and bubbles, of course! And, we will also have a limited number of fresh-from-the-box hardcover copies for visitors to purchase and for Shelly to sign! WOOHOO!

In the meantime, we thought we’d share four (4) things we are doing while we wait (patiently excitedly, of course):

  1. We’re announcing the Grand Prize Winner of the summer-long Bubbletastic Book Contest TODAY! We’ve had eight (8) awesome winners of the $50 Friday Fun Packages between June and September, and even though the book’s release date has moved, TODAY we are drawing the name and announcing the winner of the $150 Grand Prize! Be sure to check our Facebook page at 8pm CST to see if YOUR NAME is announced!
  2. We’re still searching for awesome readers to join Billy Bubble’s Book launch team. Would YOU be interested in receiving a galley of this children’s book before everyone else? Would YOU be willing to write a sweet review about it online? Would YOU be interested in sharing your thoughts and recommendation on your social media accounts? If the answer is yes, then we would love for you to send us an email TODAY at here with your contact information, and we will get you signed up to be a volunteer for  The Bubble Who Would Not POP! Book Team.
  3. We’re prepping our BOOK SWAG! Bookmarks, bubble bottles, coloring sheets, oh my! Have we got some fun things ready for our readers! If you are going to join us for the launch party this weekend, or attend the Texas Book Festival November 4-5, or possibly walk through the Great Homeschool Convention in March 2018 we will have bunches of FREE prizes for those who visit our booth!
  4. We’re prepping several blog posts to get you some inside scoop not only about our amazing illustrator Simone Krüger, whom we love and adore, but also about our next #FaithPitch event (it’s in two months!), the two new authors joining our growing flock, and the upcoming titles that will release next Spring! We can’t wait for you to see what we’ve got planned for 2018. It’s going to be baaaa-utiful!

So, as you can see, while we may be waiting, we aren’t just sitting idly by. We have much to do and much happening in our little neck of the woods, and we’re so thankful to our family, friends, readers and reviewers who are joining us for this wild and wooly ride! Stay tuned for updates because if we find out the book is released earlier than September 28, we’ll definitely let you know, but feel free to go to Amazon and pre-order it right now ( a little birdie told us they’re running sales this week)!

In the meantime, if you’re in the Tyler area, come meet Shelly and I, and celebrate with us!

Warm Regards,

Rachel
